    Publisher Xbox Game Studios and co-developers Playground Games and Eidos Montreal announced yet another delay for their long-awaited Fable reboot.

    The Fable reboot is now launching sometime in 2026 for Windows PC and Xbox Series X|S.

    Some new footage was shown of the game during an Xbox Game Studios / Official Xbox Podcast update:

    The new reboot for Fable was originally announced nearly five years ago and was originally being developed by Playground Games, with co-developer Eidos Montreal brought on later to help with the game.
