Tripwire Interactive has shared new footage of Killing Floor 2 directly from the PlayStation 4 Pro.
Featured above, the new gameplay shows off the game’s visual upgrade via the improved hardware on the PlayStation 4 Pro.
The updated visuals include the following:
- 1800p checkboard rendering on 4K TV (3200×1800) optimized for 4K TVs
- Effectively supersampling and increased fps on HDTV
- Using additional memory to increased texture resolution to “Ultra Textures”
Killing Floor 2 is launching for both PlayStation 4 and PC on November 18th, worldwide. The PlayStation 4 Pro launches on November 10th.

October 18, 2016 at 11:45 amIts the RO2 effect again, untapped potencial, poor priotization and we get a shit game that will be abandoned in no time unlike the first one.

October 18, 2016 at 4:34 pmActually the important take-away here is “additional memory.”
Sony must’ve freed some up from the OS reserve, and better textures might even be workable on regular PS4’s because of this.
Better FPS and cleaner IQ on my 1080p TV though, can’t really complain about that and I hope it’s the path most Pro supported titles take. Also better AFx16, it’s technical cost on modern GPU’s is near zero. So please.

October 19, 2016 at 7:11 amI think they meant additional memory bandwidth, which we already knew about.

October 19, 2016 at 7:47 pmBandwidth is a measurement of speed not storage though.
Better textures require more space to load, the speed at which you load them is irrelevant. (Though slow load speeds obviously lead to pop-in)

October 20, 2016 at 11:48 amMemory is what I am most excited about.. The graphical boost, the little it will give is cool if any.. This game being shown looks like some corny generic shit btw lol
