• Emile Morel, the creative director for Beyond Good & Evil 2 has died age 40

    Emile Morel, the Creative Director behind Beyond Good & Evil 2, has passed away at the age of 40.

    Morel began working at Ubisoft in 2009 and is known for working as the Lead Designer on Rayman Legends which reinvigorated the classic franchise.

    Though his passing hadn’t been officially announced, members of Ubisoft began offering their condolences on Morel’s LinkedIn page.

    Morel was most recently the acting Creative Director of Beyond Good & Evil 2, Ubisoft’s awaited sequel that was announced all the way back in 2008.

    Morel was initially the Assistant Creative Director but stepped up after Jean-Marc Geffroy left the company.
