EA survey suggests Dead Space 2 and 3 remakes being considered

The Dead Space remake came out last month to strong critical response and ended up topping the sales charts in its first week of sale.

While that might’ve had the game tracking behind competitor The Callisto Protocol, publisher Electronic Arts certainly viewed it as a success.

They viewed it so much of a success that according to a survey sent out to fans, they are probing interest in remakes of Dead Space 2 and 3.

As a user on Twitter by the username @TafferKing451 shared images of these questions from the survey:

The questions ask how interested a user would be in a “similar remake” of the later two installments of the franchise. This would indicate EA is considering making remakes of the entire trilogy, but only depending on fan interest.

It’s unknown how interested fans are in the later two games getting the same remake treatment the original got. After all, Dead Space 3 was known to have been the game which killed the franchise in the first place.

However, if sales numbers are anything to go by, then it’s possible that it could be enough for EA to pull the trigger.

Meanwhile, the Dead Space remake is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S and Microsoft Windows (via Steam and Epic Games Store). Expect our thorough review shortly!
