Afterburner Studios have announced that the release date for their Early Access action-roguelite Dreamscaper will be ahead of schedule.

Dreamscaper entered Early Access in August 2020, and was originally scheduled to get a full release on August 12th. However, the developers have announced that the game will be getting released ahead of schedule, on August 5th.

In the game, players control Cassidy, a young woman suffering from surreal nightmares. During the day, players will guide Cassidy around the sleepy rural town of Red Haven as they meet new people and form strong friendships. At night, players will dive into Cassidy’s nightmares to fight the personifications of her inner struggles.

Dreamscaper‘s full release will be accompanied by a huge update that adds Hard and Nightmare difficulty options, a new biome, two new enemies, three new bosses, new story elements, and a new UI. The game’s price will also increase on July 5th ahead of its full release, from $19.99 USD to $24.99 USD.

Dreamscaper will receive a full release August 5th for Windows PC via Steam. A Nintendo Switch version is also in development. If you missed it, you can find our preview here.
