• Dragon Quest VII Coming to Japanese Smartphones on September 17

    Square Enix has confirmed the Nintendo 3DS remake of Dragon Quest VII: Warriors of Eden is coming to mobile devices this week.

    The iOS and Android ports for the game will arrive in Japan on September 17th, for 1,800 yen.


    The smartphone versions will use the Nintendo 3DS remake as their base for the port, with added touch controls for smartphones. Fans can also expect a higher resolution, and a suspend mechanic to shut the game off and resume at any point in time.

    A western release for the mobile port hasn’t been confirmed, but we’ll keep you guys posted.
