Square Enix have uploaded new videos that showcase both the Playstation 4 and Playstation 3 versions of Dragon Quest Heroes. Viewed together, they make for a pretty good graphical comparison of the two platforms.
The differences have been detailed on the game’s official website as follows:
Rendering and graphical differences
Playstation 4 | Playstation 3 | |
FPS | 60 frames per second | 30 frames per second |
Graphics | The game is rendered with more detail/care. Where there are large groups of monsters, more of the enemies will be displayed. | When the player encounters large groups of monsters, some of the monsters will not be rendered until necessary. |
You can scrutinize the footage below. Also, in case you missed it, an epic seven-minute trailer was released for the game recently.
Dragon Quest Heroes will debut in Japan on February 26 for the Playstation 4 and Playstation 3 home consoles, for a reference price of 8,424 yen. Although Square Enix and Koei Tecmo are considering a Western release, it has not been announced yet.
