Double Fine has pulled the lid off of a new game they have in development, titled SpaceBase DF9, the game is – you guessed it, all about building and managing space stations.

The premise is that humanity has left the Milky Way galaxy, only to now return in an attempt to build space colonies, alongside your newfound alien friends.

There are lots of things to take into consideration when it comes to managing your own space station – morale, fire hazards, space pirates, and so on.

The game is currently in alpha, but since Double Fine is awesome they’ve already put it up on Steam Early Access, so you can go play it right now!
