Dog Man: Bark in Action announced for PC and consoles

Dog Man: Bark in Action

Publisher Mindscape and developer Floor 84 have officially announced Dog Man: Bark in Action, a brand-new game based on Dav Pilkey’s wildly popular comic book series, and it looks set to be a much bigger outing than its predecessor.

The announcement trailer gives fans a first look at the colorful action ahead as Dog Man faces off against the villainous Dr. Scum, who has taken control of the city by installing mind-controlling Hypno Screens. With innocent citizens under his influence, it’s up to Dog Man and his allies to save the day.

This time around, players won’t be limited to a small cast. Bark in Action features more than ten playable heroes, each with their own unique abilities. Familiar faces like Li’l Petey and 80-HD join the fight, while support characters can be called in to help during battles.

The sequel also introduces six new worlds to explore, 60 levels packed with action, hidden mystery stages, and a larger selection of boss encounters. Perhaps the biggest addition is local couch co-op, allowing a second player to jump into the adventure for the first time.

You will also be able to unlock costumes, collect gadgets, and tackle challenges across locations inspired by the Dog Man universe.

Dog Man: Bark in Action launches this fall for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
