• DoDonPachi Blissful Death Reincarnation launches in 2023 for Japan

    Japanese publisher M2 has announced a release window for their upgraded re-release of DoDonPachi Blissful Death.

    The new “ShotTriggers” re-release of the CAVE-developed shmup, now subtitled DoDonPachi DaiOuJou Rinne Tensei or DoDonPachi Blissful Death Reincarnation, is launching in 2023 for Japan.


    Fans can expect the new re-release to include both the Blissful Death release and the Blissful Death Black Label release.

    Release platforms are still not confirmed, however the game was shown running on PlayStation 4 hardware once again, and M2 games usually get released for Switch as well.

    The new enhanced re-release will include the following:

    • Super Easy mode that even beginners can play until the end.
    • Equipped with M2 gadgets and arcade challenges to help you capture.
    • Adjustments with the highest precision ever.
