Diablo IV has announced “Season of the Malignant” the first new content season for Blizzard’s most recent game.

In Season of the Malignant, players will create a seasonal character to play and progress. At the end of the season, these characters will be retired to “The Eternal Realm”.

Characters will still be available to play in this realm, but “specific season features” may be disabled.

New Boss Battle: Fight the Corruption

Scour the Malignant Tunnels to search for the catalyst of corruption. Make your stand against Varshan the Consumed and uncover the secrets of the Malignant.

New Gear: Pursue New Options

With 6 new Unique items to discover and 7 new Legendary aspects to earn along the Season Journey, there are more powerful options to harness for every class.
