A Deep Rock Galactic inspired LEGO Ideas build has successfully passed 10,000 supporters and will move onto the review process to be considered for licensing.
The build was initially spotted over a year ago, and includes the iconic MULE (Molly), Drilldozer (Dottie), and of course four mini-figs, one for each class of dwarf.
In the months since, the creator also added glyphid enemies including two grunts and a praetorian.
The build was also chosen as a staff pick last month. You can read more about the build from the creator JaoGosma below.
This is a model of the Drilldozer, nicknamed Doretta from Deep Rock Galactic, it also comes with Molly and the four dwarves. Everything included, it takes up 1291 pieces.Doretta has a set of hidden wheels on the underside to ensure that the treads move nicely, the head and drill rotate and the Mule has articulated legs.I made this as a sort of tribute to the game, I had an awesome time every time I played it and I’d love to see it get its own set one day. I think it would bring joy not only to fans of the game but also to most people in general, since the Drilldozer looks really cool.
Of course 10,000 Supporters and approval from LEGO isn’t enough, Ghost Ship Games, the developer of Deep Rock Galactic will have to sign off on it. But something tells us that won’t be a problem.
Deep Rock Galactic is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S and Microsoft Windows (Through Steam).
