Deathloop is coming to Xbox, no longer PlayStation exclusive

Deathloop

Nearly a year since it released as a PlayStation console exclusive, Microsoft has confirmed Deathloop is coming to Xbox.

Deathloop is coming to Xbox Series X|S and the Microsoft Store on September 20th, and will be on Xbox Game Pass day one.

Coming from this, the other Bethesda PS5-console exclusive Ghostwire: Tokyo will likely come to Xbox in March 2023.

The game was made a timed console-exclusive to PlayStation 5 between Sony and Bethesda prior to Microsoft acquiring Zenimax Media and Bethesda, but after said deal went through Microsoft said they would honor previous exclusivity deals.

Despite that previous pledge, however, Microsoft has moved to make future Bethesda games like the upcoming Starfield exclusive to Windows and Xbox. Their pending acquisition of Activision Blizzard will also pose the same question, but Microsoft will add its titles to Xbox Game Pass.

Deathloop has been available since September 2021 for Windows PC (via Steam), and PlayStation 5. In case you missed it, you can find our review for the game here.
