Bohemia Interactive has announced a DayZ Switch 2 port, bringing the multiplayer survival sandbox game to the hybrid console.

DayZ is coming to Switch 2 later this year in a new DayZ Cool Edition form, though it remains to be seen what this new version includes.

The popular multiplayer survival game has been available for Windows PC (Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.

We are thrilled to announce that DayZ, as part of the Cool Edition Bundle, will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2 later this year!

This is part of our current long-term goal to have DayZ on all relevant platforms. Porting DayZ to the Nintendo Switch 2 is yet another major milestone for us in 2026. In turn, this endeavor also aligns with Nintendo’s broader efforts to introduce more mature gaming experiences on its new hardware, including hardcore survival experiences like DayZ. 

We aim to support each platform’s specific unique features. This means we’ll be supporting the following:

• Gyro aiming
• Joy-Con 2 Mouse Controls
• DLSS
• VRR
• Touchscreen support for inventory management.
• Pro Controller Compatibility
