• Dauntless shutting down in May 2025

    Not long after confirming mass layoffs at their company, Phoenix Labs has announced they’re shutting down their main game Dauntless.

    The independent developer is shutting down the game that led to their main success on May 29th at 11:45 Pacific / 2:45 Eastern.

    After the game goes offline, it will become unavailable to play and it will naturally have no more future content and updates. Phoenix Labs attempted a reboot of the popular game though it got an overwhelmingly negative response.

    Dauntless has been available for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PS4, and PS5.
