Danganronpa Reveal Teased for Sony’s Tokyo Game Show 2015 Press Event

danganronpa 09-14-15-1

We’ve learned (via Hachima Kikou) that a Danganronpa-related announcement is coming during tomorrow’s Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia press conference.

The news comes via the official Danganronpa Twitter account, who let out a tease via a tweet:

“With the SCEJA Press Conference and the 2015 Tokyo Game Show and the Hope’s Peak Academy Koubaibu Gakudai-Ban, there’s a lot going on this week.. I wonder if there’s a reason behind it all happening at the same time?”

Danganronpa producer Yoshinori Terasawa responded:

“We’re streaming this, right? It was starting at 16:00, if I recall? Is it sad should I miss it? Will I truly feel like I missed something? (laughs)”

The Danganronpa account responded:

I have a hunch it will be a conference that you shouldn’t miss.. If you don’t watch it, you’ll regret it!”

Danganronpa 3 was confirmed to be in the early stage of development earlier this year. Maybe we’ll get some kind of a reveal for that game?

We’ll keep you guys posted.

Man i’d love to see these games on PC, i think with the outburst of VNs there they would be very popular.

I agree they would be somewhat popular, however they would have to port them first, and Japanese companies aren’t always good when it comes to porting from console to PC; now from PC to console is always another story. For some reason though, I feel murder mystery games like this play better on handhelds, but that’s just my opinion.

I’m personally hoping they announce Dangan Ronpa Another Episode 2, just cause were already expecting DR3!
