Update: New information has been revealed, including a teaser trailer.
Crytek have stated (via Video Games Chronicle) that the game’s visual improvements include high-quality textures and a HD texture pack, improved art assets, temporal anti-aliasing, SSDO, SVOGI, depth of field, new light settings, motion blur, parallax occlusion mapping, new particle effects, volumetric fog, God rays, software-based ray tracing, and screen space reflections.

Crytek have announced Crysis Remastered.
After previously teasing the announcement, Crytek have now announced the game via Twitter. Other than the official website, information is scant at this time.
The original Crysis was released on Windows PC in 2007, and later on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011. The game’s impressive graphics (for the time) could only be taken advantage of on higher-end computers. The last Crysis title was Crysis 3 in 2013.
