• Crytek Hint at Crysis-Based Announcement

    Crytek have hinted at an upcoming Crysis-based announcement.

    The official Crysis Twitter account tweeted a single message, “RECEIVING DATA”, the first tweet the account had made since 2016.


    The last Crysis title was in 2013, with Crysis 3, which recieved average review scores from critics and players [1, 2, 3].

    Things did not improve much from there. Following claims of employees not being paid in 2016, Crytek has officially shuttered five of their worldwide studios.

    In 2017, Crytek began their own crypto-currency, CryCash, which continues to this day. Their most recent title was Hunt: Showdown in 2019.
