XSEED Games has put a new trailer up to coincide with the launch of Corpse Party: Blood Drive.
Featured above, the trailer gives us all a little peek at what the gameplay for the game entails, with a few shots of characters exploring a poorly lit area with a flashlight, and running away from the deadly creatures after them.
Blood Drive takes place after the previous game, Book of Shadows, and is the conclusion to the series.
Corpse Party: Blood Drive is available as of yesterday, exclusively on PS Vita.

October 14, 2015 at 10:36 pmAre these games actually scary though? It seems like they rely on visual horror and yet…. they’re on the Vita???

October 14, 2015 at 10:46 pmCorpse Party games are atmospheric, disturbing, and often nerve-wracking. They don’t often go for “BOO!” type scares, though, and they don’t rely much on visuals at all. Instead, a combination of effective storytelling, top-notch voice work, unsettling music, and eerie binaural audio effects make them creepy.
One of the scariest parts of the original game, for instance, was set against the backdrop of a pitch-black background, with only occasional flashes of light providing any visual stimulation whatsoever (aside from the text boxes, of course).

October 14, 2015 at 11:43 pmDepends on how you react to certain stimuli. The game does have jump scares, but some will catch you off guard. If you hate certain sounds or things that are out of place, the game will get to you at some point. BGM can also be grating at times when you’re nervous about being killed at every possible corner, it tends to vanish at moments of relief or certain death confusing your brain slowly.
