Compete App Gets Xbox Integration

We’ve learned the Compete app gets Xbox integration as part of a big update to the gaming-focused platform, the company has announced this week.

Launched globally back in 2020 as a way for gamers to get rewards and socialize while gaming, the Complete app gets Xbox integration enabling Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S owners to upload, share, and vote on their best skill-based, creative, or even comical video clips.

To celebrate the addition of the Xbox platforms to Compete, the company is running some new challenges for gamers:

  • ‘The Ultimate Showdown’ Your best Xbox victory game clip across any title. Giveaway: Xbox Console
  • ‘Fortnite Tuesday’: Your best Fornite clip. Giveaway: Limited Edition Fornite Controller Xbox
  • ‘Halo Wednesday’: Your best Fornite clip. Giveaway: Halo Infinite game
  • ‘Full Throttle Thursday’: Your best driving clip (Forza, Grid, F1). Giveaway: 12 month Game Pass
  • Game Play Friday: Any clip, any game. Giveaway: Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Wireless Gaming Headphones

In participating with each challenge, Xbox players can seamlessly upload and share their game clips by tapping the “Game Clip” button in the app, browse your clips captured from your Xbox console, and then upload them to their regular gaming challenges.

Whichever clips get voted the most will get prizes, however you can also get rewards for just voting too. As with other platforms, Compete hosts giveaways daily for things like cash (paid out via PayPal), limited edition accessories, and even game consoles.

You can download the Compete app for free on iOS via the (App Store) or Android (via Google Play).
