Relic Entertainment have released a new dev diary for Company of Heroes 3, focusing on the game’s new destruction physics.
Company of Heroes 3 has a whole new physics engine, allowing even more realistic destruction than in previous games. Holes will be made in buildings based on where the shells made impact, and there’s significantly more debris flying around that can actually cause harm to nearby units. Depending on how buildings collapse, their bombed-out shells can also still be used as cover for infantry.
