Publisher Kepler Interactive and developer Sandfall Interactive shared a character trailer for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 introducing one of its protagonists, Maelle.

Here’s a rundown on the character, plus the new trailer:

“Everyone in Lumière is an orphan”.

Meet Maelle (voiced by Jennifer English), the youngest member of the Expedition. A shy loner, eager to fly.

Orphaned at age 3, Maelle has never felt at home in Lumière. She has difficulty connecting with and trusting others, but has come to appreciate her foster brother Gustave. At 16 years of age, Maelle is significantly younger than her fellow Expeditioners. Unlike them, she views the Expedition as her chance to explore the world beyond Lumière and finally forge her own destiny.
