Chuck E. Cheese is hosting a new event this October. The “Five Nights of Fun” (FNOF) which absolutely has nothing to do whatsoever with Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNAF).

The Five Nights of Fun is an event at Chuck E. Cheese running from October 9 to October 13. Two weeks later, the event culminates in a Big Night of Fun on October 27. If that date sounds familiar, it should.

After the Five Nights of Fun were announced, fans of Five Nights at Freddy’s began to poke fun at the similarities and how previously Chuck E. Cheese has tried to distance itself from the FNAF franchise.

One ad for the event even looks like the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie poster. They even refer to The Much as “everyone’s favorite purple guy.”

Additionally, multiple Twitter users have been spreading what’s allegedly a document for Chuck E. Cheese employees which instructs them on how to steer discussions away from Five Nights at Freddy’s. We’ve been unable to verify its authenticity.

If you’d rather visit the real Freddy Fazbear’s then you might have to head for LA. For everyone else, at least there’s Chuck E. Cheese, even if they won’t admit to the similarities.
