Atlus has revealed a new trailer for Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight.

Featured above, the new trailer shows off the game’s protagonist, which is playable in Story Mode. For those who need catching up, the protagonist is a sworn defender of the Princess Arianna. When you begin your quest, one of the first regions you frequent is Ginnungagap, an area where monsters lurk in every corner.

As seen in our previous coverage, the protagonist is able to transform into a demonic form, when unleashing the power of Fafnir. When in his new form, he gains new abilities in battle, and as you progress through the story, you’ll slowly learn how he got this power.

Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight is coming to the Nintendo 3DS in North America some time this summer.
