Netflix has announced Castlevania: Nocturne, a new animated series follow-up to their original Castlevania animated series.

While the previous series focused on Trevor Belmont, the new Castlevania: Nocturne animated series will focus on Richter Belmont, who made his appearance first in Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. A premiere date wasn’t announced.

The series is led by showrunner Kevin Kolde and Creator/Writer Clive Bradley and produced by Project 51 Productions with production services provided by Powerhouse Animation. Castlevania: Nocturne follows Richter, a descendant of the Belmont family, popularized in the iconic Symphony of Night and Blood of Rondo Castlevania games.
