Capcom Online is Working on At Least Ten Unannounced Games

This week’s Famitsu (via Hachima Kikou) has given us a pretty staggering tease: Capcom Online is working on at least ten unannounced games.

The news comes via an interview with Capcom bosses Yoshinori Ono and Kazunori Sugiura on the subject of business strategy at Capcom Online Games:

Regarding Dragon’s Dogma

Ono: “We’re going to kick off with Japan, where our largest consumer market is. When dealing with our overseas market, it’s become essentially trial and error, even with the Asian markets. This doesn’t mean we’re not going to release games outside of Japan.”

Sugiura: “With Monster Hunter Frontier G, we’re actually leaving the decisions up to the internal development team, in the hopes of giving them some creative space. We’re currently developing at least 10 unannounced games, so we’re avoiding rushing things.”

Business for 2015 and Moving Forward

Ono: “We’re launching Dragon’s Dogma Online first. [Editor’s note: DDO will launch this year.] We’re also trying to keep quiet for now on Deep Down as we develop the game, so please give us more time. We can possibly reveal something big later this year.”

Sugiura: “Deep Down is a game that we’re putting a big risk on, something that comes once every 15 years or so. We can’t release it in its current form and say the graphics are cutting edge. This is an extreme example, but this game is taking at least five or six times the production as Monster Hunter Frontier G.”

Regarding Breath of Fire 6 (featured above)

Ono: “We’re hoping to make something that both veteran fans and newcomers to the series can enjoy.”

Sugiura: “I sincerely think 2015 is the year in which Capcom Online Games releases its best titles.”

So what do you guys think? Is the level of production going into Deep Down completely insane? What could their other titles be?
