Blue Archive has begun its latest event, titled simply “An Unconcealed Heart.”

With it comes two new characters named Iroha and Kaede to the game’s gacha, where they’ll get higher rates within their own respective banners. Another new character, Michiru, will be obtainable for free just for doing the event itself.

With this new event, as with all events, there will be a full story along with many quest and challenge stages. You can read the full patch notes here.

Somwthing of note with this update is that this should also be the update which begins the game’s official app split between an adult and teen version, due to regulation by the South Korean government.

Other noteworthy news relating the game includes their manga spin off series following a subset of characters within Blue Archive as well as special animations posted online showing off their cast as well. Most recently the game also celebrated its 1st year anniversary for those on global servers.
