Blizzard Entertainment have officially announced Blizzard Arcade Collection, and its immediate launch.

The collection features three classic Blizzard games; The Lost Vikings, Rock n’ Roll Racing, and BlackThorne. Along with being able to play original editions of each game, players can rewind the action, save their game, watch replays, use screen filters and borders, and a museum of developer interviews and concept art

Each title also has a “definitive edition.” BlackThorne features a level map, The Lost Vikings has original content, and Rock n’ Roll Racing is playable in 16:9 ratio, and 4-player split-screen. The collection had previously leaked thanks to a PEGI rating earlier this week, which has now been deleted.

Blizzard Arcade Collection is available now on Windows PC (via Battle.net), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. You can find the abridged rundown (via Battle.net) below.

RNRR is back with 16×9 resolution support, original rock and metal soundtrack hits like Bad to the Bone and Born to be Wild (now with artist recordings and the MIDI versions you remember), and 4-player local multiplayer in the Definitive Edition. We’re also including the two original console versions in the Blizzard Arcade Collection; no matter what version of the game you’re playing, you get to start the game with Olaf unlocked, guilt-free.

Blackthorne®

Your skull will make a fine trophy! As mercenary captain Kyle “Blackthorne” Vlaros, traverse an alien planet, liberate the Androthi people, and claim your destiny. Your destiny, in this case, is cover-diving and blind-firing your shotgun in frenetic 2D shootouts. Blackthorne blends action, platforming, and worldbuilding into a grim space fantasy that presaged Warcraft and StarCraft. Play either of the two original console versions, or the Definitive Edition, with a level map and levels from the original 32-bit release of the game.
