Indie Chinese developer ThinkingStars has shared a new trailer for their promising new cyberpunk game, ANNO: Mutationem.

Featured above, the new trailer for the cyberpunk action-RPG was released at this year’s BitSummit, which just wrapped up in Kyoto, Japan.

Here’s a rundown on the game:

ANNO: Mutationem is an action RPG developed by an independent Chinese studio called ThinkingStars – a team comprising both industry veterans and novice developers.

ANNO: Mutathionem takes players to a cybernetic world, to be more precise, to the city of Metropolis, which was built after the catastrophe. The protagonist wanders through the city streets learning about its secrets and facing the dangers lurking behind each corner.

In ANNO: Mutation the action is shown from the side perspective. Diverse locations are filled with all kinds of opponents, including various robots as well as powerful beasts. During dynamic and spectacular combat sequences,players use melee weapons and various firearms.

Interestingly enough, the production process of this game was accompanied by an initiative of the SCP Foundation, in which people from all over the world could share their ideas for the game with the authors.

ANNO: Mutationem is planned for a 2019 release on PlayStation 4, with plans to port to other platforms.
