Publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer Arkane Lyon announced Deathloop.

The new FPS action game was announced during Bethesda’s E3 2019 showcase tonight.

From the above announcement trailer, there will be two different protagonist assassins that must take out the other character to either preserve, or break, the time-loop that the “Black Reef” is stuck in.

At this time, there is no announced released date nor development platforms were confirmed at this time.

Here’s a brief rundown on the game:

Deathloop transports players to the lawless island of Blackreef in an eternal struggle between two extraordinary assassins. Explore stunning environments and meticulously designed levels in an immersive gameplay experience that lets you approach every situation any way you like. Hunt down targets all over the island in an effort to put an end to the cycle once and for all, and remember, if at first you don’t succeed… die, die again.
