Bandai Namco has Filed an ‘Extreme VS-Force’ Trademark

gundam extreme-vs 06-14-15-1

We’ve learned (via Hachima Kikou) that Bandai Namco has filed a new Mobile Suit Gundam-related trademark.

The new trademark was filed for the name “Extreme VS-Force” in Japan, on May 26th. Clearly, the new mark is applicable towards video games.

For those unfamiliar with the Mobile Suit Gundam VS. franchise, Bandai Namco has been developing games in the series since 2001. We’ve even reviewed an import copy of Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs Full Boost, which you can read here.

We’ll keep you guys posted.

Hope it comes to the west with a PC release. Dub is uneeded because anyone but Gatha (who is a doctor now) as English Domon would make it pointless (the DWG3 Domon was horrible).

Hope to see a playable Maxter/Chibodee (Even though I’m terrible at the special inputs all the Mobile Fighters have in vs.). America! Fuck Yeah!

So another edition like how Capcom makes several versions of the same game? If this is the final one I really hope they localize it. Sucks being an American Gundam fan.

Please come stateside. Don’t need a dub. I’d be fine with subtitles. I’m tired of importing these games. None of my friends want to bothervplaying because moonrunes.

Who’s the guy to the left of Amuro?

Tobia Arronax, MC of Gundam Crossbone. He’s been getting more exposure lately.

I just miss dub Amuro, Char and Tieria. Even the DWG 3 Garrod was pretty good, and MSG Kai is dead-on for the character. Gundaam dubs have always been pretty good.

Doubtful. I would love a Crossbone anime, but if it hasn’t happened yet… It’s probably not going to :/

Yeah, you have to hate how complicated the VS games are in any language. Please… You can import this game on your region free console (see: PS3) and play it just fine even if you only know the word Baka. You have no excuse for not importing this since it is very import friendly.

Well, at least we’ll have the F-91 movie, amirite? :P Some super squished in back story for the prequel to the Crossbone Vanguard.

don’t listen to these guys you have to remember that when it comes to anything UC related these says Sunrise will slowly give us anime adaptation content. But they will not give on UC. The people that say Crossbone will never get an anime are ignorant. It’ll happen you just have to remember that they treat Gundam as an immortal franchise and they decided this back when the first alternate universe story was created (which was Mobile Fighter G). I’ll give you some examples lately in the UC universe when it comes to anime adaptations we’ve gotten Unicorn and we just recently finished that series up and it took a while since every episode was basically once a year. And now we are on Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin, this will have about 4 episodes one a year. After Unicorn is the F91 timeline which is directly connected to the Crossbone series so to say we’ll never get a Crossbone anime is just plain ignorant. I think after The Origin we will most likely get a re-creation of F91 and this Crossbone but this isn’t until 2018 the earliest for an announcement of such. Right now all we’ll get is The Origin yearly with a spin-off gundam anime on the side.
