Mobile tower defense game Arknights just announced its “A Flurry to the Flame” event, featuring the Monster Hunter franchise.

Here’s a rundown on the new event, plus a trailer:

Arknights, the highly acclaimed strategic mobile RPG, is set to launch its latest event – “A Flurry to the Flame.” The game is collaborating with the renowned “Monster Hunter” franchise, bringing an unforgettable experience for players worldwide. The collaboration offers players an enthralling Side-Story, exclusive crossover Operators, limited crossover outfits, and a treasure trove of rewards.

In this crossover event, Rhodes Island receives a distress signal from Roka Village, prompting Yato and Noir Corne to investigate. Terra Research Commission, composed of Felynes from Monster Hunter, join them on their mission. However, they face the powerful Rathalos, a formidable Monster Hunter creature, and they find themselves unable to overcome its strength. Forced to retreat, they return to the village in search of a cure. Throughout their journey, the mysterious truth behind the events in Roka Village gradually comes to light.

During this special event, players have the opportunity to obtain the limited crossover Operator, the 1-star Terra Research Commission, completely free of charge. Alongside this exclusive operator, a plethora of valuable rewards await, including furniture pieces for Momiji Hotel, Headhunting Permits, Module Materials, Elite Materials, LMD, and Battle Records. These rewards can be earned by clearing event stages, completing missions from the Roka Village Quest Board, and exchanging items in the Event Store, Arts Melder.

The Monter Hunter collaboration event will last from September 7th, 10:00 (UTC-7), until September 28th, 03:59 (UTC-7), and includes new operators, skins, and missions.
