Arcade Puzzle Platformer, Aero’s Quest, Jumps onto Steam Greenlight

New to Steam’s Greenlight is Aero’s Quest, an arcade puzzle platformer in joint development by Soloweb N.V. Studios and Ravens Eye Studios.

Players will take the role of protagonist Aero, who is “madly in love” with Ariella, “for whom he would do anything”. A rival, Andraus, kidnaps Aero’s love, and turns the boy into a piece of metal, but Aero’s devotion to Ariella is so strong that he escapes his transformation and, using the brand new parts acquired thanks to Andraus, jumps higher and runs faster on his quest to rescue his love.

The goal of the game is to trigger switches in order to free Ariella. One feature in particular that stands out about Aero’s Quest is that players will only have a limited amount of time in which to complete each level. The final game is supposed to have over 100 levels and 10 worlds. It will be available for Windows, Linux, and Mac, and the developers also intend for it to come to consoles, eventually.

You can watch the trailer for Aero’s Quest, featured at the top, and see more screenshots of it, below. I would have liked for it to be a bit more visually polished, but the gameplay appears to be solid.
