The upcoming anime adaptation of Ameku Takao’s Detective Karte is set to premiere this January as part of the Winter 2025 anime season.
The series follows the titular Ameku Takao, a female doctor who solves mysteries while diagnosing patients. The novel series began in 2014 and in the decade since it’s had a brief manga adaptation.

The anime is the latest title from animation studio Project No. 9 who previously worked on Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta?, Love After World Domination, and recently Senpai is an Otokonoko.
