An anime adaptation of Acro Trip is planned by studio Voil, and it just got a release window with its first teaser trailer.

A release date and cast for the series have yet to be announced but you can expect more details as we get closer to its 2024 premiere.

The series began as a manga in 2017 and is currently ongoing. Acro Trip is the breakout success of series creator Yone Sawata.

The title was picked up by shojou publisher Ribbon Magazine for serialization and is still releasing new chapters.

The series follows Chizuko Date, a young girl who lives in a city in Niigata prefecture. Chizuko is a fan of the city’s local hero Berry Blossom, but unfortunately she doesn’t have a big fanbase.

The reason being that Chroma, the leader of the city’s local villains just isn’t very strong. In order to make Berry Blossom a star and show off how important she is the answer is clear: she needs stronger villains.

The upcoming anime was announced by studio Voil, a new animation studio whose first work will be the upcoming Acro Trip.
