New “Cobalt Blue Edition” of the Rod Controller

A new “Cobalt Blue Edition” of the Rod Controller for Ace Angler: Fishing Spirits, representing the beautiful ocean depths, will be released on 11 August 2023.

This is an adaptation of the Rod Controller installed in the Ace Angler fishing experience arcade medal game, developed for home console use on the Nintendo Switch™. The Rod Controller works by attaching the reel gadget to the Joy-Con™, allowing players to cast it and reel in fish like an actual fishing rod.

In addition to the already popular Red Rod Controller, this new “Cobalt Blue Edition” will offer users a new way to enjoy Ace Angler: Fishing Spirits!

Package Content for the “Cobalt Blue Edition” of the Rod Controller:

  • One Rod Controller (one main body and one reel)
  • Rod Controller Purchase Bonus: “Pirate Outfit Set” (usable in-game)
