A-Train: City Simulator is Coming Soon to 3DS in the West

Natsume have been localizing the ArtDink-developed train simulator, Let’s Go on the A-Train 3D, for the Nintendo 3DS.

Featured above, you can view a Japanese trailer for the game, however, it seems like the wait for the English version of the game isn’t quite that far off. In an update on the Natsume localization blog, we’ve learned the English script will be polished up in January:

“Currently we are at the tail end of the translation and localization for A-Train and we are truly excited about this title.  In January we’ll begin testing, tweaking, and polishing.  With a mix of city simulation strategy and trains, we can’t wait for our fans to play this unique title.  Expect to see your first glimpse of the game in January. “

The game puts you into the shoes of a new boss in the local transportation agency. Your goal is to ensure that all of the public transportation (and the city itself) within a city run efficiently and smoothly.

It’s not just trains, either, as you’ll be in charge of the subways and buses in the entire city. There’s also your role in managing your city’s budget, while also implementing new roads, train tracks, and even editing maps in the map-editor.

We’ll keep you guys posted.
