$25,000 Crystal Pikachu and More Released for Pokemon 25th Anniversary

The Pokemon Company and and Baccarat have announced special Pikachu crystal ornaments to celebrate the Pokemon series 25th anniversary.

As stated in the press release (via email), Pikachu Fragment ornament will be produced, created by Japanese artist Hiroshi Fujiwara. The ornament is very limited to a mere 25 pieces, costing $25,000 USD, and can be purchased from Baccarat’s flagship stores in New York, Tokyo, Paris, London, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

If that is too rich for your blood, there is also a Pikachu glass ornament ($440 USD), and Pokeball complete with gold mesh ($410 USD). They can be bought online, or via select stores.

1996 saw the company’s first releases with Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green for Nintendo Game Boy. Since then, Pokémon has grown to become one of the most popular and successful entertainment franchises in the world. 25, the Pokédex number of the iconic Pikachu, makes this event very electric!
A special occasion to celebrate the Pokémon phenomenon with several glittering creations: a limited Pikachu Fragment created by Hiroshi Fujiwara, a Pikachu figurine, and a Poké Ball, for all fans across the globe.
