Genshin Impact Baal Character Teaser – Raiden Shogun: Nightmare

Genshin Impact Baal Raiden Shogun

MiHoYo have released a new teaser trailer for Baal, also known as Raiden Shogun, the next character coming to action-RPG, Genshin Impact.

Baal is the Electro Archon and ruler of Inazuma. An oppressive ruler that has become increasingly authoritarian and isolated over the years, She is the main antagonist of the current story arc. However players are about to get a chance to obtain her as well.

You can find her new teaser trailer below.

Baal is a 5-star Electro polearm user that will be available as part of the upcoming Plane of Euthymia character wish event banner released as part of the 2.1 update. The banner will also contain the brand new 4-star Electro bow character Kujou Sara, another antagonist in the current story arc that lead’s Baal’s task force in charge of hunting down those with Visions.

These aren’t the only new characters coming to the 2.1 update. Kokomi is a 5-star Hydro catalyst user that plays a big role in the ongoing narrative as the leader of the resistance movement against the Raiden Shogun.

She will be the star of the second banner of the 2.1 update, after the upcoming Baal banner ends. Meanwhile, players who reach Adventure Rank 20 will be able to obtain Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn as part of a crossover event.

Other things players can look forward to when the 2.1 update launches include new quests, a continuation of the current Inazuma story arc, a fishing minigame, the Hydro Hypostasis and Thunder Manifestation bosses, the Signora Trounce Domain weekly boss fight, and new limited time events and quests surrounding the Moonchase Festival in Liyue.

Genshin Impact is available and free-to-play on Windows PC (via the official website), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, and coming soon to Nintendo Switch. In case you missed it, you can find our review here (we recommend it!)
