We’ve learned a Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night sequel is in development, news confirmed by 505 Games, the publisher on the first game.

The news that a Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night sequel is in development comes via the publisher’s 2020/2021 Q3 FY report presentation, which mentions a “second version in development” in the section dedicated to the original game, which Koji Igarashi’s Artplay studio developed.

While this isn’t explicitly called a “sequel”, it’s worth noting the Ghostrunner section that comes immediately afterwards also says “second version in development”, and we know that that game is actually a sequel to the original game.
