Monster Hunter Rise Update Ver. 2.0 Launches April 28

Monster Hunter Rise Update Ver. 2.0

Capcom have revealed more about Update Ver. 2.0 for Monster Hunter Rise, during the Monster Hunter April Digital Event.

As previously reported, the update was known to bring Chameleos, Apex rathalos, and removing the Hunter Rank cap. Now, Capcom have revealed more about what is coming in the first free title update for the game.

Other new monsters coming to the game are Apex Diablos in the Rampage, and the return of Elder Dragons Teostra and Kushala Daora. New monsters also means new materials, and new weapons and armor will also be available.

The update brings new standard quests, allowing the existing Apex monsters to be hunted down outside of the Rampage, and new Event quests will be coming after the update launches. Once downloaded, they can be played as many times as you want, and offline.

Some will reward you with new gestures and stickers; though it was heavily hinted that they may also grant new layered armor such as sunglasses. The update itself will also bring advanced Rampage quests, arena quests, and single-player only quest.

As aforementioned, the Hunter Rank Cap has now been unlocked. The new Hunter Ranks will grant player access to the quests to hunt the new monsters, and allow them to forge layered armor. The Palico and Palamute level cap has also been raised to 50.

The new DLC includes two Hunter Voices (those of Fugen and Minoto, with more NPCs recorded for the future), the Idol Post Set, Delightful Dance emote, Special Stickers 1 for in-game chat, two new hairstyles, two face paints, two new BGM tracks, four Palamute and Palico Layered Armor collars (each), two Cohoot outfits, and the Hunter Swallow Shirt, Gloves, and Boots Layered Armor.
