Square Enix have released a launch gameplay trailer for the upcoming remastered classic JRPG SaGa Frontier Remastered.
As previously reported, the game is a remake of the 1998 PlayStation JRPG. Taking place in a universe dubbed The Regions, players can choose from the original seven characters along with new playable character Fuse in an intergalactic quest.
Each character has their own story, and can freely explore almost the entire universe thanks to the Free-Form Scenario System. Their stories can also weave and intersect with one another, as they explore worlds of different levels of civilization, technological prowess, and magic.
The launch trailer provides not only gameplay and showcases the improved graphics, but the stories of each of the game’s protagonists; and new 8th protagonist Fuse and his all-new story. Asellus also gains new elements to her story, cut from the original release.
