SaGa Frontier Remastered Launches April 15

SaGa Frontier Remastered

Square Enix have announced the release date for classic updated sci-fi JRPG SaGa Frontier Remastered.

Announced back in November 2020, the game is a remake of the 1998 PlayStation JRPG. Taking place in a universe dubbed The Regions, players can choose from the original seven characters along with new playable character Fuse in an intergalactic quest.

Each character has their own story, and can freely explore almost the entire universe thanks to the Free-Form Scenario System. Their stories can also weave and intersect with one another, as they explore worlds of different levels of civilization, technological prowess, and magic.

While the release date was announced during the recent Nintendo Direct, the release date for other platforms was later confirmed on Twitter by Square Enix.

SaGa Frontier Remastered launches April 15th for Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Android, and iOS.

You can find the announcement trailer below, along with the game’s segment during the Nintendo Direct (40:46).
