Microsoft have announced a new Xbox Wireless Controller, the Pulse Red with a new Share button, along with its release date.
As stated on the Xbox Wire blog, the new controller will join the range of Carbon Black, Robot White, and Shock Blue. The controller features matte triggers, bumpers, and hybrid D-pad to reduce slip, and a textured dot pattern on the triggers and bumpers to further improve grip.
It also features Dynamic Latency Input for more responsive control, and a new Share button to share screenshots and recordings. It can still be custom mapped via the Xbox Accessories app. It also features a 3.5mm stereo headset jack, and USB-C port to recharge.
The Xbox Pulse Red Controller launches January 12th in China, and February 9th in “most Xbox markets” for $64.99 USD for Windows 10 PCs, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Android. In select markets, it will also include a 14-day trial for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
