Silent Hill Creator’s New Game is a Horror Action-Adventure “That Will Appeal to Fans of His Previous Work”

Bokeh Game Studio has revealed some tidbits for their new game, hot on the heels of their official reveal earlier this month.

The new studio, led by Silent Hill, Siren, and Gravity Rush creator Keiichiro Toyama, is working on its first game – which Toyama says (via IGN) is “an action-adventure game that will appeal to fans of my previous work.”

Toyama noted that the game will include “battle and story elements” in a rich and well-made world that you remember from Sony Japan Studio, and Konami.

When asked if the new game will focus more on horror themes like Silent Hill and Siren or if it will focus on the cute anime fantasy setting of Gravity Rush, Toyama said “If anything, this will be more of a horror-oriented game. But we will focus on making this a broader entertainment experience, rather than a hardcore horror game.”

In regards to what platforms Toyama is looking to release the game on, despite being mostly focused on Sony platforms exclusively for the past two decades, he wants the new game on many platforms.

“We are developing with PC as the lead platform, but we hope to release the game on as many console platforms as possible,” Toyama said.

Bokeh Game Studio will share more details and updates on their official Twitter and Facebook accounts in the future – we’ll keep you guys posted.
