Genshin Impact developer miHoYo put a lot of focus on the game’s soundtrack, so it makes sense they announced an official release for the game’s official soundtrack.
The game’s Mondstadt Chapter: “City of Winds and Idylls” soundtrack is now available to stream on both Apple Music and Spotify. The 63-track, two-hour soundtrack is comprised of music currently found in the game world, which focuses on the Mondstadt region.
Developer miHoYo’s own in-house sound team Hoyo-Mix worked alongside composer Yu-Peng Chen to produce the massive soundtrack. There’s also a The Wind and the Star Traveler mini-soundtrack available over on Apple Music and Spotify, offering another 15 tracks.
In related news, developer miHoYo confirmed the next big expansion to the game, Dragonspine, is being released in December – you can read more about that here in our previous report.
Developer miHoYo is also planning on releasing new characters over time, as well as new release platforms. Genshin Impact also earned over $100 million within the first two weeks since it launched.
Genshin Impact is now available for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and smartphones via iOS or Android. A Nintendo Switch version is planned.
