The Nintendo Switch has increasingly become the console of choice for visual novel creators in the wake of Sony’s censorship policies. Last year Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa reaffirmed Nintendo’s commitment to “diversity and fairness of game software” and that it’s not the place of platform management companies to inhibit it.

Collar X Malice launches 2020 on Nintendo Switch. The fan disc containing extra content will also be sold separately around the same time.

In other news, Aksys Games released other trailers for upcoming otome and visual novel games on Nintendo Switch during the New Game+ Expo live stream. These include Café Enchanté, Piofiore: Fated Memories, and Collar X Malice-Unlimited-. Aksys Games also released a trailer for Pretty Princess Party.
