Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory Announced, Launches Worldwide 2020 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory

Square Enix have announced rhythm game Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, as part of their Kingdom Hearts 2020 announcement.

The game features over 140 songs, as players play through classic Kingdom hearts stages and scenes, set to the music of the series. The game also appears to support multiplayer.

The trailer then appears to show new scenes from Kingdom Hearts III’s engine. These could be pre-rendered scenes, as the release date for Melody of Memory is shown after- implying these scenes are within that game. This is further supported by an image from the scene appearing on the official Japanese website.

The scenes appear to be showing what occurs after Kingdom Hearts III, and the Re:Mind DLC. For those who wish to avoid spoilers, it begins at 0:58. You can also find unofficial translation of the Japanese here.

You can find the announcement trailer below.
