EA Sports have just announced Madden 21 for Xbox One and Xbox Series X at Microsoft’s Inside Xbox presentation.
While details are scant at this time, EA PR Manager Will Alexander shared more information via Xbox’ official website.
Much like other games announced in the presentation, the game uses Smart Delivery. This means players who buy the game on Xbox One will be able to play it on Xbox Series X when it launches at no extra cost.
The only limitation is that players must buy the game by December 31st, 2020, and upgrade to Xbox Series X by March 31st, 2021. This at least confirms the game is likely to release early December or prior on Xbox One.
EA’s Play Live broadcast is scheduled for June 11th. We may see more information at then. We will keep you informed as we learn more.
