Today’s Spotlight is Close to the Sun, a first-person horror adventure puzzle game by Storm in a Teacup and Wired Productions.
The game is set in an alternate 1897, on a massive vessel called the Helios sitting in international waters. Created using advanced technology developed by Nikola Tesla, the Helios exists as a sanctuary for the brightest and most ambitious scientists from across the globe. It acts as a place where they can pursue their research without interference from corporations or governments.
You play as Rose Archer, a journalist that has come to the Helios in search of her sister. She quickly discovers that something horribly wrong has happened on the ship, which is now plagued by quantum anomalies, and infested with otherworldly creatures. Explore the Helios, solve puzzles, and piece together what happened so you can find your sister.
